Why do liberals blame GWB for the WMD fisco?

I am a Conservative, and i still blame GWB for the WMD fiaso! he is the only one who took the information given to him and acted on it without vetting intelligence of his own! if a Liberal came to you and told you that one of the houses in your Neighorhood had a WMD's in it, but didn't do anything about it themselves, wouldn't you think twice before taking action?
