Small town USA and I see so many interracial couples unheard of in big cities, why is this the case?

well as ethnicly diverse as LA is, it is still somewhat segregated. the smaller the city the more these groups are around and mingle with each other. but go too small you see segregation again so placed like that in the hundreds of thousands is sort of the happy medium for harmonious living
