Im good in shooting but im not good in the post im a good ball handle and im not the coolest guy in school im scared theyll make fun of me should i try out??

Should I cont. to be friends with this girl?

So this girl I have known for years by years I'm talking 8-10. Are friendship has went down hill and we never really talk. We were close till I met my husband and I guess since I wasn't single and didn't party or live that life style she stopped calling or wanting to hang out. Well now 4 years later we rarely talk and she never made an attempt to come see my son when he was born and just recently saw him today because her daughter had her bday party. Well I get to the party and she barely talks to me maybe twice then when one of our mutal friends gets there then she talks to me but mainly to the other girl. Then right in front of me she invites the other girl to a candle party and also talks about their plans to go out tomorrow. Then to top it off when I told her I was leaving she said bye to my son and walked away not saying a word to me and would look my way when I was packing up his stuff.... Thanks in advance. Oh and I just left the party and didn't try to say bye again and didn't get a text or anything from her after.
